It's hard to tell from the screens, but cotton makes use of unbelievable amounts of scrolling,with far more levels than I have ever seen in any other MD game (known). The anime "cinemas" are easily confused with the PCE version, only given away by the lack of CD sound.I believe them to be superior. The game uses extensive "Mode 7" type effects and maxes out the colors on the MD, as you can see in the picture of the river level (top),even going so far as using an Algorithm to get a "rainbow" effect for the water.The game is the most solid MD drive game I've ever had the good luck to own. An ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE if you are a cotton or MD fan, and can get a copy.
