The rundown:SEGA AI 8300

The AI 8300 unit I have is a demonstration unit. It's a pre-production machine, and it was accompanied by extensive documentation and materials. Two early prototype boards were included as well.

This machine was a sample sent to an influential person in the US. The goal was to tout the awesome power and features, and possibly find someone willing to distribute and sell this machine in the USA. This didn't happen, so it languished in an attic for over 10 years until it eventually came to me.

I have to say, this machine is awesome. It has capabilities years beyond the decade it was created in. Voice, animation, Laserdisc input and programming. Touchscreen, and affordable storage (Tape). The machine is touted as an ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE programming machine, hence the name AI.  I have large amounts of documentation I will scan, mostly corresponance from CRI research institute, the parent of SEGA. Most interesting is the materials are in ENGLISH.
