Let's be frank, Sailor moon was a dead property in Japan in 1996, as was Superfami turbo. I guess kill two birds with one stone, and whore out the license a bit more. I mean, what is left to buy after you own the pancake mix, tissues, and every God awful SM image CD known to mankind. (Image CDs.. They have nothing to do with the series, they just sport series graphics and are in the "spirit" of the series. Ranma fans will painfully know what I am talking about...)
