Micro Genius is the brand name of a series of pirate systems dating back to the 2600. There have been bootleg Micro Genius machines as long as I can remember.

The IQ-901 is a wireless capable handheld famicom. It has a single port that the antenna can use to broadcast to a nearby televisison.

Sporting quad bluetooth chips, it can do 1.9 pentaflops of... just kidding. It's based on the famicom design, but has nice features like turbo buttons, 1 / 2 player selectable switching, and slow motion.

It comes with two antennas for maximum compatibility with video standards.

It uses 4 AA batteries. The lack of a screen keeps you tethered to a TV, and though not as nice as the Game Axe, it's a hell of a lot cheaper. Lots.

Looking more like a landmine than a game system, it's basically a rectangular box filled with shoddy and poorly soldered contents. However, with a handy solder iron, all repairs can be easily made. When you get something like this, and intend to use it often, I recommend opening and soldering all key points well.

It comes with a warranty card, but inless you live in the backyard of the factory, I doubt it's good for much. It's a nice gesture to make it look like a legit product.

Here's a view of the port and switches. It has a port like the famicom for the light gun, and other add on items. It's quite possible to play light gun games with the unit, but it's real easy to yank the unit off the table and break. Do yourself a favor and sit on the floor if you use a light gun.

Do NOT take to an airport. It looks like a satchel charge, or a claymore. the buge antenna doesn't help either.
