The Dreamcast DEV kit is one of the easier kits to find. There were a lot of these made. There's been at least a dozen on ebay, and if you've got a few hundred bucks, you can get one with the software tools as well.

Most of these are just dev units with no GD-R in them. The GD-R is a really hard to get item, as are the GD-R discs, but the discs are a lot easier to get than the drives.

There's a lot of different variants of the DEV. I'm not sure how many as of yet.

The back is full of goodies.

Modem

Serial Port

External GD-R

Expansion (ZIP)

Two external SCSI for added storage

Built in VGA support

Midi in and out

S-video

Composite

I have no idea what C1/2 is

The power supply is in the bottom, and is 115-230. It's not 100V(Japan) which leads me to believe the Japanese kit is probably a bit different, perhaps the older ones had 33.6 for the original DC.
