GAME AXEGame axe, the famicom/nes handheld.
Nintendo doesn't have a goddamn clue how much money they would make
if they released a NES handheld.. But then again, true to form, the new Nintendo handheld is once again about expensive ROM carts, royalties, production fees, and licensing. Time to bend over and
take the Nintendo shaft, once again.
The Game Axe provides a shitty, yet acceptable alternative. The screen is terrible. Men weep at the sight of the crappy screen. But it's under
$99 and it's easily hacked to work better.
Game Axe has been around forever! I've seen them as far back as 1998 or so, and they cost a ton. They never used to bundle a converter,
so people used to hack theirs to work with NES carts. Now they just throw a converter board in with the deal.
A solid machine, as long as you don't drop it...
