DEBUGGING UNIT

Thsi unit is for debugging software. The unit has special roms

to allow the use of unencrypted CDRs of games in production.

Finished games would be encrypted to prevent piracy of the source

code. 3DO games show up as one large file when viewed on a PC.

These are Japanese machines, with mini rom interface boards.

The debugging units came in many different forms. If you were

to use a  controllers from a previous DEV on this unit, it would be

seriously damaged. That is because the previous units used

simple controllers. Akin to the warning not to use genesis

controllers on the consumer 3DO.

I'm not sure if these units could use CD-ROM emulation like

saturn DEV units.
